There is no better way to underscore our optimism about our profession and its potential than the launching of our new website, along with our blog. No doubt it’s a challenging world around us, but the uncertainties of our time underscore the need for stable, energetic talent.
We are grateful to have discovered a number of wonderful projects this year. We have put our best energy and talent towards them. This is a year when projects need to be nurtured to have any chance of being realized. Our energetic, design-oriented practical approach has supported our client’s vision and has allowed many new projects to come to pass. These include the grand opening of the Bravern in Bellevue and wonderful new schools for the Bellevue and Snohomish School districts, and many other lively projects.
The world is now a study in contrasts. I can’t help but think of Charles Dickens’ apt description, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way.”
It’s hard seeing so many talented clients, friends, and design professionals cut loose in these times. We have had our own challenges as well. But in spite of that, there is much positive energy and hope in our country. Here’s to that positive hope and energy reaching a tipping point to the good side!
