Stand Up Paddle on the Lake

Subtle color on the lake

Full  Disclosure:  I have become a stand up paddle board devotee.

I first tried it a year ago in Hawaii and loved it.  Bought a pair of Naish boards in May 2009 and have been out on the water almost every day since.

Winter time on Lake Washington can be brilliant or subdued.  Yesterday was a day of amazing color and richness, along with a little warmth too.

That’s pretty amazing that you are out there in the middle of winter…of course it’s great here in the PNW but it is been crazy cold pretty much everywhere else.

Marice is right. It looks so beautiful and serene; meditative. I can see why you’d want to get out there every day.
