Treehouse

Treehouse
There is no more important way to invest in our future than to take care of kids. We have focused most of the firms corporate donations on Treehouse. They are a local charity with tremendous energy and caring. Their program has six core functions: Tutoring, Educational Advocacy, College and Career Planning, Little Wishes, Summer Camp and the Wearhouse. Together these give foster children a real childhood as well as hope for the future. Treehouse programs offer kids in foster care what all children so desperately need: a safe place to dream.
Little Bit

Therapeutic Riding Center
Our friends at Collins Woerman suggested we jump on the design team for Little Bit Theraputic Riding Center. We have been helping to develop updated landscape plans for their new improved facility with a combination of paid and pro bono work.
Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center’s mission is to improve the bodies, minds and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy and to be an inspiration and educational resource to the therapeutic riding profession, both regionally and nationally.
Located in Woodinville, WA, Little Bit’s 4-1/2 acre facility includes 19 program horses, outdoor arena, 9 paddocks (turnouts), 20-stall barn with tack room, covered indoor arena, physical therapy room, administrative offices, and conference room. The adjacency to the Tolt Pipeline offers riders trail ride opportunities and a rural atmosphere while just 20 minutes from Seattle.
Vision House

Jacob's Well
We have been working on a pro-bono effort with Gabbert Architects and Planners and Vision House to provide the landscape architectural design for the Jacob’s Well Project in Edmonds. This important project is a transitional housing facility for homeless mothers and their children. The complex will consist of 20 housing units, on-site child care for 65 children and counseling offices for families who need extra support. The Jacob’s Well Service Center will also provide space where volunteers and local churches can come together to support the resident families along side the professional staff.
